- OneDrive survey for membership application. Personal data will be more secure than Google Forms. Survey can be launched from Key Club webpage.
- Handout with membership dues instructions to give members as soon as they complete the online application. Email follow-up if dues not paid within specified time.
- Key Club membership information quick guide handout with links to website
- Membership dues and data needs to be submitted to Key Club International by Nov. 1st for Early Bird recognition.
- Save the date: District Convention (DCON) will be at the Sheraton in Lakewood the weekend of March 29-31st. Pre-DCON for current (2018-19) district board members and new LtGs for the 2019-2020 year will be on Thursday, March 28th.
* Securing L100 as meeting spot, advertising for pizza to come and eat
* MRF for secretaries
* Making sure we are documenting for awards- diamond level clubs
* Key Leader is back 2019 (Castle Rock- signature project)
* Ray wants to get AKtion club with more integration with Key Club (start with FCHS would be good)
o Advisor left and trying to nurture it and Ray stepped
* 10 volunteers needed for senior prom (help set up decorations/socialize with residents)
o Can invite people from other clubs, trying not to overburden clubs in the school year
o Monday night, would be easier to open it up (every club has a couple of people)
Respite Care:
* Need a lot of help with arts and crafts (would be great for meeting service project), seasonal kind of thing
* End of season play ground clean up (projects with a purpose)
Foco Café
* Warm Wishes (timely before November)- make cards
o Pinned to handmade scarves and caps
* Donation drives to gather things like cleaning supplies, gloves, nonperishable foods
o Needs year round
Caring Canines
* Braided dog toys using strips of t-shirt material
* Make volunteer name badges with caring canines logo on purple lanyards
* Donation of purple washcloths sized towels, dog bowls, dog leases
* Purple and white are logo colors
Operation Christmas Child
* Assemble a few shoe boxes with items form the members
* Challenge is each box needs to have additional 8, would need to fundraise
Kiwanis Dollar Day
* Website, inexpensive gods we can use to assemble toiletry kits, back to school backpacks, school supplies kits
