Division Wide Projects:
* Try to create a bigger connection with Kiwanis
* TASTE OF FOCO NEXT YEAR!! (Goal of 350 hours)
* Put on application next year to save the date
* Make it a membership requirement to go to Kiwanis event
* No Key Leader this year – resurrect it? – talk to people who went
Key Club Meetings
* Work as a board to plan volunteer opportunities for the first 3 meetings and then leave it open to members
* Have a box? – put ideas in box
* Have a few other ideas to keep incase no ideas
* Make sure that we have a place to go and that they are meeting a need
* Start with the why
* Board members send 2 favorite service projects and 2 tangible fundraising options to the group chat by Friday
* Have board meeting every week? (provide another week to look at bigger picture) – every Monday at 7am
* As a backup plan, we could dedicate meetings to committee work (ex. Homeless sleepout, etc.)
* P-111 is being split, we could ask for M-109/111, upstairs M double class (field trip at the end), L100
* Keep meeting dates 2 and 4 Wednesdays
* First meeting on August 29th
* Next board meeting 2-4 on the 12th of august
* First Board meeting 27 august at 7am

* Need people to man table 4 and 5 period
Thirst Project
* Garage sale for thirst project (division wide)
* Could invite people from community as well
* Cinderella project but for hoco dresses – September 15th (maybe earlier) – psd key club wide
* Advertise throughout the school
* Earth Week – fundraise during that week – dedicate a dress day)
* Have a school wide water balloon fight to fundraise
* Bring the flyers and show the video
* Soap project??
* Speakers in foco area for thirst? – division 16
* Fortitude 10k team – talk to the cross country team about joining team
Homeless Sleep-out
* September 28/29
* Fundraising the week before (24-28)
* Goals:
* Same plan of action as last year
* Make it a divisional thing – talk to the other schools to plan it out
* Sam and Christian frontline – will tell us things we need to do
* Focus on fundraising for things that impact children
* Get the word out early
* Need to get info, like numbers and things like that to get things finalized
* Secure a porta pottie
* 50 person maximum
Custodial Service initiative:
* Involve teachers more – teachers can encourage students!!!
* What are some ways we can more involve the student body
* Show photos that sow what would happen without the custodians
* Meme challenge: take really funny photos of garbage of custodians or teachers looking at garbage and then have students send in captions and how to help and things like that (Sam)
* Have the teachers fight for the cleanest classroom award!! – have displayed on TVS, white boards, etc.
* Have custodians vote for the cleanest room of the month (final decision made by carole) – put in spilled ink (get CSI spot)
* Annual Events: CSI BBQ, Parade (parade custodians down the hall)-find their needs (2;30-3 would be optimal timing), no more custodian of the month, give them the little bags, FOOD (cookies, cake, etc)(individual versus overall)
* Keep the posters up with the names and how they think we can help
* Mention how taking 2 minutes of cleaning up can save 30 minutes of extra work for custodians cleaning the rooms
* What to do about lunch – have key club walk through at lunch with a big sign saying to pick up after yourselves, ask administrators to walk around cleaning and making people responsible, tell them to pick up their mess if you see them stand up and leave it, bust tubs but raise awareness about them and show students how to use them, make signs for the bust carts, put something on top of trash can to make it difficult to put a tray on the top, put instructions on the bust tub, ask key club members to put stuff in tubs after lunch that is one the trash can, put an incentive for people in detention that they can get out early if they clean
* Tuesday and Thursday during volleyball and basketball season (whenever there are games) are days that they need more support
* October 24th is CSI Day (include autism kids)
* Redo the board with new custodians
* Make a plaque/statue to put in the room that wins
Club Advertising
* Get the rest of the club to help recruit members
* Have then ask 1 or 2 friends
* CLUB RUSH, get word out
* Put an article in spilled ink
* Try to do something to get into Klyd TV
Builder’s Club
* Rough sketch at the moment (it is a key club for a middle school)
* We are targeting boltz
* Email Ms. Chapel (counselor) about it, sooner the better
* Have to have Kiwanis sponsor, reapply for $600 for chartering, must have staff advisor
* Have a board member or someone go participate in a meeting or 2
* They have free posters and things for builders clubs too

* Senior prom (10th) and the homeless sleep out(28/29th), and the fortitude 10k (3rd), Fall Rally (October?)

* $337, we are in the positive
* Need for fundraising (toilet for sleep-out, thirst project, etc.)

* Have the application be a Google form that translates into a Google doc
* Goal of $6,000 for the year through fundraising and stuff (make plans later)
* Think about SILENT AUCTION (donations, tickets) - GOAL
